Iran is prepared to restart nuclear talks with Washington on condition that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations produced results, and disclosed new appeals had come from intermediaries to restart negotiations with the American leadership. He claimed Iran possessed no unreported enrichment locations, and Iran had not yet reached a point to permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect attacked atomic facilities for safety concerns.

Walking a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is walking a challenging course since Iran wishes not to be seen to be operating from a situation of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out more powerful defensively and emotionally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.

He was speaking at a security conference in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium within its borders that it will always maintain" – the primary cause of the impasse in the prior discussions.

Earlier Talks Unexpectedly Terminated

The prior phases of discussions between the United States and Iran were brought to an abrupt and acrimonious end on 12 June when the Israeli government, with Washington's assistance, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a 12-day war that concluded with the US president asserting the sites had been destroyed. Following this, EU nations exercised their privilege to reinstate international penalties, but Iran insists they have not had a significant effect.

Magic Solution Proposed

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the enrichment issue in previous talks, when it was decided an domestic cooperative with US participation could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to claim victory since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that American atomic experts could work inside Iran, but that was a reasonable assumption of the consortium proposal. Diplomats stated three times they had achieved a deal with Trump's special envoy the American negotiator only for the arrangement to fall apart due to "opponents in the US".

Present Position

Tehran representatives stated the partnership proposal was now withdrawn, but it seems quite possible the proposal could be revived in some form if negotiations reopen.

The US president recently claimed he had been getting signals that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but privately Iranian officials state they are not yet receiving consistent overtures from the United States either explicitly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, the Omani authorities and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been charged of inactivity in the aftermath of the US president's straightforward manner, but Tehran says negotiations is not part of a performance.

Negotiating Stance

In his speech to the conference, intended to portray the US as a hegemonic power that abuses the notion of worldwide standards, Araghchi said the two-week conflict showed the dispute could not be settled by armed force. He stated the assaults began with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and concluded with an unconditional call for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is certain the initial Israeli attacks were carried out with full US knowledge and coordination, making faith challenging to rebuild.

Diplomacy Continues the Final Resolution

The foreign minister declared: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned diplomacy; it was the United States and the European states that had always sought to impose their will during the negotiations. Diplomacy can still be alive and remains the final solution to settle conflicts, but its criteria, regulations and fundamentals must be respected."

"Provided that they speak to the nation of Iran with the tone of respect and respect, they will obtain a reply in the equivalent language."

Recovery and Recovery

In what is described by Iran's diplomats as the conflict of recovery and reconstruction, the foreign minister claimed he was certain Iran's security strengths "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year.
