In a unexpected partnership that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content

Players who finish the adventure will receive an unique katana together with several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
